Would totally wear one out shopping or to dinner(if I had one!)!

2. Oxfords!!! Cant wait to buy these! Picked this out at Urban Outfitters and now I just need to go over there and actually buy them instead of just standing over and drooling over them.

The Golden Globes 2010!

So... maybe you watched the Golden Globes and maybe you didn't. But I'm betting you read People, or maybe watched that fashion show on E! to see what everyone was wearing. And why wouldn't you?? The red carpet was ablaze with jem tones, strapless cuts, and slicked back hair that looked gorggggeous dahling. (Thank you Edna.)

I must say that I was unhappily surprised by a few. The word unhappy almost seems to frown and I can see why when looking at Mariah's outfit. She at least had the decency to lower her Max Azria gown's hemline, but the cleavage is too much. All over the place I'm hearing about her "Golden Globes" instead of the "Golden Globes." This is a worst dressed on my list.

Next we have one of my favorites! I first saw Marion Cotillard when she won her Oscar. She wore a beautiful dress then and she wore a beautiful dress this time. She struck the perfect balance between casual and formal. The emerald color was a really good call, (it stood out in a sea of blacks.) But my favorite part was the peak of lace! How unexpected, chic, and French... just like her.

Another one that didn't quite work for me was Cher's. Um. A bit 80s and a bit of a vampiress thing going on. I thought nude and black was classic but this proves me wrong. Next time please choose something more modern.

And last, but not least, what I think was the most beautiful of the night- Sandra Bullock. Why shouldn't she be bessed dressed? She was very sucessful this year with her movies (I loved the Proposal!) and she looked amazing. Her Bottega Vanetta gown had a flattering neckline and I loved the way the purple flowed seamlessly into the pink. Even better than being on my bessed dressed list, she took home a Golden Globe.

Life's Faux Pas and Do-dahs. (The good and bad list)

My Do-Dahs of the Week:

• Long emails with BFFs who also happen to be cousins


• Character shoes; the might pinch your feet but who cares? They're wicked awesome!


• Heart to hearts. Awwww reminds me of camp!


• Delaney's fantastic boots from Nordstrom


• Dresses. It's so in vogue to be girly. (not to mention fun!)


• Beau. Of course.


• Sewing clothes. My new tre chic Hulaman shirt is awesome!


• Ella Enchanted and Shrek. I just watched them and they're pretty rad


• A taste of high school! So much more accepting than middle school. (Sorry Roo.)


• Shampoo that smells like Fruit Loops

My Faux Pas of the Week:

• ER this morning. Who wants to be in a hospital at 5:00 am?
• Chores. Chores. And yep. More chores.
• Well it's that time of the month folks...
